A dog wears a bell and thinks he's famous. An old dog sets him straight.

THE MISCHIEVOUS DOG

There was once a Dog who used to snap at people and bite them for no reason at all. He was a big problem for everyone who came to his master's house. So his master put a bell around his neck to warn people he was coming. The Dog was very proud of the bell. He strutted around tinkling it and felt very pleased with himself. But an old dog came up to him and said, "Don't show off so much, my friend. You don't think your bell was given to you as a treat, do you? It was not. It is there to tell people to stay away from you."
