THE DOG AND THE SHADOW
A Dog was crossing a bridge over a stream. He had a piece of meat in his mouth. He looked down and saw his own reflection in the water. He thought it was another dog with a much bigger piece of meat. So he dropped his own piece and snapped at the other dog to get the bigger one. But he got nothing at all. One piece was only a shadow, and the other was carried away by the water.
