THE DOG IN THE MANGER
A Dog was lying in a Manger on the hay that had been put there for the cows. When the cows came and tried to eat, he growled and snapped at them. He wouldn't let them get to their food. "What a selfish creature," said one of the cows to the others. "He can't eat the hay himself, and yet he won't let those eat who can."
