A Hare was making fun of a Tortoise one day for being so slow. "Wait a bit," said the Tortoise. "I'll race you, and I'll bet that I win." "Oh, well," said the Hare, who thought that was very funny, "let's try and see." They agreed that the Fox would pick the course and decide who won.
